Program Director & Chief Resident Breakfasts/Lunches

The program director and residents get together regularly to discuss career goals, mentorship, and ways to improve the program. Program Director lunches alternate with resident-only lunches. 

Social/Wellness Activities

Our resident-led social/wellness committee organizes regular events outside of work. Past events have included watching Fourth of July fireworks, brunches and dinners at local restaurants, happy hours, kayaking on the Charles River, Boston Red Sox games, and group fitness classes. We have also had events jointly with our colleagues in other dermatology residency programs in Boston and New England. We are fortunate to have a dedicated budget to fund these events and minimize costs of participation for our residents. 

Big Sibs

To ensure a smooth transition from internship to dermatology residency, all new residents are paired with a second- and third-year resident "big sib," joining a sibling family within the Harvard dermatology community.

PGY1 and 2 End of Year Dinner at the home of Associate Program Director, Steven Chen.
