Opportunities for Medical Students

Harvard Medical School Visiting Clerkship Program
This program provides fourth-year and qualified third-year medical students with an opportunity to complete a clinical rotation at Harvard Medical School. Participants gain mentorship, hands-on experience, and exposure to the clinical environment at Harvard-affiliated hospitals.

Harvard Medical School Visiting Research Internship Program
An eight-week, mentored summer research program designed to enhance students’ interest in research and health-related careers, particularly in clinical and translational research. This program offers mentorship, skill development, and exposure to research opportunities.

AAD Dermatology Diversity Mentorship Program
This national mentorship program provides medical students with hands-on exposure to the field of dermatology through a one-on-one mentorship experience with a dermatologist of their choice. Several of our faculty members serve as mentors for this program.

Dermatology Foundation Diversity Research Supplement Award 
This program supports medical students in gaining in-depth research experience by working on an existing project with a Dermatology Foundation Award recipient faculty member. Several of our faculty members have received these prestigious awards and are eligible to mentor students through this initiative.

Biomedical Sciences Careers Program 
A biannual conference and mentoring program designed to support students interested in biomedical sciences and healthcare careers, from high school through graduate-level training.
