Mentoring

We offer several formal programs for mentorship and sponsorship for our residents.  Upon arrival to our program, residents are assigned a Faculty Research Advisor and a Resident Big Sib.  Residents are also assigned to two Continuity Clinic Preceptors, chosen based on their history of outstanding commitment to teaching and mentorship.  Our Faculty Directors of Pediatric Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Dermatologic Surgery, and Procedural Dermatology also serve as resources for our residents. Lastly, the Program Director and Associate PDs meet with our residents regularly.
